Developing Women for Success

With women making up about ½ the workforce we still see very few women reaching senior management and leadership positions. We know that there are multiple and complex reasons for this with a range of responses and actions required by organisations. 

I believe that part of the actions are to work with women themselves to help them to overcome the obstacles, develop clear and practical career visions and goals and to increase their confidence and belief that they can succeed. 

My own journey of learning and discovery has proven that with increased confidence and belief that I can succeed and led me to be more effective in my work.

I believe strongly in role models and that if we help more women into senior leadership roles they will both act and role models and connect to more women who they will encourage to lead. Their increased visibility will enhance our work environments.

I offer a range of options for working with women, either on a one to one, in small groups or in larger groups.  The work is tailored to the needs of the women in the groups and is flexible to the needs of organisations.

 

Executive Coaching for Women

I have worked extensively with women in my career and have a track record of working with them to help them believe in their ability to succeed and in identifying and overcoming challenges along the way. Alongside the coaching I can use MBTI, 16pf and 360 degree tools.

 

Career Coaching Groups

In small groups of up to 10 women and run over 6 months these career coaching workshops offer a mix of input on ideas, tools and theory alongside practical actions and peer coaching and challenge.  The outcome for each woman will be a clear career plan with ideas and practical help on overcoming obstacles along the way.

Leadership Development

My Women’s Leadership Programmes are tailor made to the needs of your business.  They are particularly aimed at developing the Emotional Intelligence of leaders through increased understanding of themselves and on building confidence and resilience

The programmes are participative and use the participants experience from their leadership roles rather than case studies or role plays.

Action Learning for Women/Group Coaching

Action learning is where a small group of people come together to focus on work based issues.  The groups meet at fixed intervals and over a period of time develop close relationships which enable both support and challenge.  They provide a safe place to explore work based challenges, challenges of balancing the pressures of home and work and career decisions.
