Jean Balfour offers consulting in leadership, team facilitation, workplace diversity and action learning.

Jean’s expertise focuses on developing individuals, groups and teams to achieve high performance and have more voice in their organisations.  Jean uses conversational approaches, appreciative inquiry and action learning methodologies to facilitate events which challenge current thinking and stimulate creative visioning.

Jean believes that in the turbulent climate we are in today effective relationships both with clients and within the organisation are critical to ensuring organisations success.  Her work focuses on the quality of these relationships.

Jean’s current work includes:

  • Highlighting the business imperative to highly technical experts to engage with leadership issues
  • Assisting leaders to have effective conversations and brainstorm with their teams
  • Re-aligning leaders who find themselves in a different and usually more competitive market following organisational change
  • Coaching leaders to take on tough conversations with their teams
  • Enabling better conversations and understanding between teams and stakeholder groups to improve working environments
  • Working with teams to identify where they are achieving good results and focusing on areas of improvement
  • Focusing diversity networks around business objectives and taking action
