I work in diversity as I have a strong sense that the world would be richer in every sense if we were bold enough to live with diversity in every sense – diverse people, thoughts, personalities, concepts, ways of living....  Jean Balfour

Jean Balfour sees herself as someone who helps organisations have conversations about diversity, to develop their own strategies and approach. Jean believes in taking an appreciative stance to diversity.  She helps organisations look for where they are already successful on diversity issues and helps the organisation to build on these.

Jean’s major focus is on:

Jean can work with your organisation to:

  • Work with or help to establish diversity networks.
  • Set up mentoring schemes
  • Provide leadership development opportunities to staff in underrepresented groups
  • Conduct a diversity inquiry – interviewing members from underrepresented groups to gain an understanding of their experience in the organisation.
  • Speaking at corporate events on diversity particularly LGBT issues
  • Facilitating strategic planning workshops for diversity networks
  • Providing open invitation master classes for members of diversity networks in Leadership, Career Planning, Networking, Developing your Team and Coaching Skills
